Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Blossom HR is recruiting a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for a long-established, full-service law firm in Roseland, New Jersey, in the New York City metro area. This is an on-site role, in the office five days per week.

You will be a key member of a busy commercial real estate practice, working directly with partners on transactions from contract through closing. The firm is looking for a seasoned paralegal who can take ownership of title, survey and closing work and run a closing independently.

What you will do

• Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract to closing, including acquisitions, sales, financings and leasing matters
• Order, review and resolve title commitments, surveys, searches and related due diligence
• Prepare closing documents, checklists, settlement statements and post-closing deliverables
• Coordinate closings independently with clients, lenders, title companies and opposing counsel
• Track deadlines and keep transaction files organized and up to date

Schedule and location

Full-time, on-site in Roseland, NJ, five days per week.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent, continuous commercial real estate paralegal experience at a law firm (residential-only experience will not qualify)
• Hands-on experience with title, survey and closing work
• Proven ability to run a commercial closing independently
• A stable work history
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 per year
