Blossom HR is recruiting an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a respected, mid-sized law firm in downtown San Francisco. This is a hybrid position: you will work in the office at least two days per week, in a building conveniently located right above a BART station.
You will support a litigation partner and the firm's environmental and energy practice. The role blends hands-on litigation support with general administrative and office support, so it is a great fit for a detail-oriented legal assistant who enjoys variety and genuinely likes keeping a busy practice organized.
What you will do
- Prepare, format and proofread pleadings, briefs, correspondence and other litigation documents
- Handle e-filing and service in California state and federal courts (PACER, CM/ECF, TrueFiling)
- Track deadlines, maintain calendars and keep case files and document databases organized (Relativity, Nextpoint)
- Provide administrative and office support, including time entry, prebill review, reception coverage and office supplies
- Coordinate with attorneys, clients, courts and vendors in a professional, responsive way
Schedule and location
Full-time, hybrid: in the downtown San Francisco office at least two days per week.
Hiring process
After an initial screening call with Blossom HR, qualified candidates are submitted to the firm for a screening call, followed by an in-person interview with the partner and attorneys.

- Genuine interest in the administrative side of the role: time entry, prebills, reception and supplies
- A stable work history
- Experience with TrueFiling, Relativity or Nextpoint is a plus
